Auditing firm Grant Thornton confirmed that at the end of 2018, Steablcoin USDC from a startup Circle was fully provided with fiat reserves.
As of December 31, 2018, Circle held $ 251,211,209 in custody accounts of Circle, and USD 251,211,148 was in circulation.
Note that in the last 15 days, Circle has increased the number of USDCs on the market to 371.35 million USDC, releasing more than 100 million tokens.
The audit was carried out in accordance with AICPA standards.
